Paper Quilling & LED Paper Circuits!

At this one day workshop we will be teaching the art of paper quilling! This is a highly addicting paper craft where thin strips of paper are coiled by hand and manipulated into various shapes. They are then glued together to create ornamental pictures, cards, 3D shapes and even wearable jewelry! The technique is simple, but the possibilities are endless. A great craft project for beginners and more advanced makers alike. This age-old crafting technique has recently resurged in popularity, so there are lots of inspirational images online to reference. In addition to the paper quilling we will be integrating glowing LEDs into our work! Learn about simple paper circuits using LEDs, copper tape, and batteries.  Add a bit of electricity to a special greeting card or light up a quilled ornament for the holidays!
