Adult Workshops:

Polymer Clay Gnome Homes

Learn the art of polymer clay sculpture in this 2 part series workshop! We use an oven bake clay to transform a glass jar into a whimsical little shelter for your handmade gnome friend to inhabit. We also teach advanced painting techniques to give your sculpture a lively and realistic look in part II of this workshop. We have a variety of tools for you to play with and discover the joy of making in polymer clay and it's endless possibilities. Join us in this intro workshop and learn the skills to create a one-of-a-kind sculpture! (Psst....we think these would make wonderful gifts too!)

If you are interested in attending a small session workshop at Agnes' home in Kitchener, please fill out the form below to let us know your availability. As soon as we have 3 students interested in the same day and time, you will be contacted to confirm specific calendar dates* to attend the workshop. Once the dates are confirmed, we will give instructions to complete payment for the class fee (which can be done in person or through the website).

*Please note, this workshop is a TWO PART series. Because of the time involved, the project must be broken up over 2 days. During Part I we will be working with modelling the clay, and Part II we will be painting the baked pieces. Students are welcome to take their projects home in between classes to continue working (but must bake their own project before returning for Part II). This is a highly addicting craft, and you can easily spend many hours getting lost in perfecting the details :)

If you are interested in having Agnes come to your house (anywhere in Waterloo Region) to run a private workshop with a group of your friends, a minimum of 4 students is required. Please get in touch to book a date!

Location: 103 Bridge St. East, Kitchener N2K 1K1

Workshop fee: $65 plus HST (all materials are included)
