clay + Plaster KIT
Plaster is another versatile material that we love exploring the possibilities of in art making. We’ve created two unique projects using our clay and plaster kit.
Make a rock shaped paper weight stand to hold your quill and ink set. This provides a safe spot to store and display your stationery tools and the weighted base keeps your ink well from tipping over.
The plaster mold project will be used with our paper making kit for casting pulp into a shallow relief form, like the “A” example shown. The plaster works to wick away the water in the paper pulp and can be used repeatedly for many castings.
This kit comes with enough material to make 4 plaster projects.
Included in this kit:
800 grams of plaster (enough to cast 4 plaster castings)
1 litre mixing container
500 grams of clay (it can be used indefinitely when stored properly.

wooden thickness guides
a variety of cutting tools
paper template
access to video tutorials online
