ALL OF OUR POSITIONS FOR MARCH BREAK 2019 HAVE BEEN FILLED.

Job Description

We are currently seeking fun-loving and creatively skilled individuals who enjoy working with kids ages 7-14. Mindful Makers is an arts-focused camp that introduces kids to many forms of making through popular tech and tools. While we strive for excellence in our project making, we recognize that it's really all about the process of learning and having fun along the way. We embrace all successes and failures as learning experiences. We focus on teaching a variety of hands-on skills and improving on those, no matter what level a child may be at. Our staff should be able to adapt their teaching methods to address the needs of each individual child. Patience and an encouraging attitude are important qualities to have when working with kids, especially when they are trying new things for the first time.

Camp Instructor duties include:

  • preparing lesson materials under the guidance of the Camp Director

  • teaching lessons during class time

  • set up and tidying up classroom spaces

  • cleaning common spaces (kitchen, bathrooms, break area)
