Discover the joy of basket making with us!
Get hands on with a wide variety of basketry techniques using natural materials, both wild foraged and cultivated. Our basketry projects are all beginner friendly and will challenge the maker to build on their skills with each meetup.
WHEN:
6-week classes will be offered in each season (fall, winter, spring) once a week on Thursday evenings between 6:30-9:00 pm. Each season will offer a new mix of weaving projects as there is so much to explore in the world of basketry!

AGES:
This program is geared towards youth aged 11+ who would like to spend time amongst their peers exploring the art of basketry.
We recommend this program for those who have a strong interest in learning the craft and have the focus and ability to keep up with the class work. Some weeks may require taking materials home to prepare for the following week’s project.

COVID-19:
Masks are no longer required but are still encouraged as we will be working in close proximity with eachother.
Cost:
Membership to this Club is $350 + HST for a 6 week class. Due to the nature of this club, we are not able to offer single day enrollment.
Please note: there is a minimum number of students required to run this program. If we do not reach the minimum enrollment by 3 weeks prior to the session start, a full refund will be given and we will hope to fill the following season’s class.
REGISTRATION:
Classes will be kept to a maximum of 8:1 student to teacher ratio to ensure a quality experience.
REFUND POLICY:
If you wish to cancel your spot, please let us know as soon as possible. A full refund minus a 15% admin fee will be returned to you. Alternatively, you may request to use your registration fees towards the purchase of any of our at-home kits with no additional penalty applied for cancelling.
Once your session begins refunds are not possible for missed classes. Please ensure you can commit to attending the entire 6 weeks before signing up.
