pinball
This pinball project was invented back in 2017 as part of our summer camp program and it was such a huge success that we’ve decided to bring it back for some creative play at home this year. You can even play two machines back-to-back for battle mode!
Check out this video to see one of our students explaining his awesome pinball game.
It’s no secret that we love cardboard boxes and we’re particularly delighted with our new batch of designs for this year’s kit. Not only do these boxes look awesome, but they are also very handy for organizing your kit materials or for hiding away your treasures. We’ll show you how we used tissue paper to give these boxes some colour and pizzazz!
Included in this kit:
a very special Japanese saw (called a Canary Saw) that we love and use at camp often. It has a serrated blade that makes cutting cardboard a breeze, but at the same time is safe enough for children to handle without worry
3 full rolls of our favourite tape
pokey tool
straight edge (for cutting)
plastic safety ruler
soft retractable measuring tape
pencil
pencil sharpener
eraser
fasteners (twist ties, buttons, butterfly pins, elastics)
tissue paper in rainbow colours
white glue
foam brush
access to our online video tutorials + printable PDF instructions
You’ll need to provide:
lots of cardboard!
