Week 39

Sweater Weather

Welcome to week thirty-nine of your Smash Book! Today, you will be filling in a pixel pattern to make knit-style sweater and mug designs for fall!

Step 1. First, print off this week’s graphic. You will need to print it out twice to have enough templates for your pages.

Step 2. Using scissors, cut out the mugs and sweaters from the printouts.

Step 3. Now is time to plan out your sweater patterns! You could either try and make a clear picture, or a more abstract pattern. Using pencil crayons, you can draw small x’s over the squares in the colours you want to plan out your design before you colour it in.

Step 4. Now, using the same pencil crayons, colour in each of the pixelated squares. 

Step 5. Using a glue stick, paste your graphics into your Smash Book! For some extra flare, feel free to decorate the page behind your cutouts.
