Week 44

creepy crawlies

Welcome to week forty-four of your Smash Book! Today, you will be creating creepy crawly creatures with ink.

Step 1. First, you will need India ink, blank paper, and a straw. If you don’t have ink, watercolour paint or watered down acrylic paint will work too. Place a blob of ink onto the paper. Then, blow gently through the straw to move the ink blob into an interesting shape. Make several of these shapes all over the paper. 

Step 2. Wait for the ink to dry. Then, use a marker to give features to your blobs! Make them as creepy or silly as you like by drawing eyes, teeth, horns, legs, etc. When you are done, use a glue stick to paste your creepy crawlies in your Smash Book.
