sculptural book making

In this one day workshop we will focus on creating a sculptural book cover to hold a set of hand bound booklets made from scratch! This clever designs allows for the booklets to be removed and replaced once the pages have been filled up.

Students will have the opportunity to design and sculpt their own cover art using polymer clay. After baking the clay, they will paint their creations using acrylic paint and assemble all the pieces to create their book.
