Tissue paper latern making

In this one day workshop we will focus our day on creating paper lanterns to celebrate the turning of the seasons as welcome in autumn.

Our Mini Makers will work on creating simple lanterns using tissue paper and glass jars in addition to other paper based decorative crafts to fit out theme.

Our Classics will build their own lantern structure using bamboo sticks and tape. This will be skinned with tissue paper and decorated as they wish using more tissue paper cut outs. This group will also learn to solder a custom circuit board with a glowing LED which can be used to illuminate their lanterns.
