Balloon Twisting!
In this very special one day workshop we will explore the art of balloon twisting!
We are honored to have the talented Linda Ripley leading us through what will be a very fun, and very squeaky, workshop!
We’ll start the day out by getting to know our material and practicing some basic balloon skills (inflating, tying, twisting). In the afternoon we’ll be working on creating our own balloon creature designs which will later be incorporated into a collaborative installation! We’ll end the day off with a popping party! Our campers will get to take home most of their creations, so we hope you can leave some room in the car!
Please note this workshop will not be suitable for anyone with a latex allergy.
We will also be subject to loud and sudden popping noises throughout the day.

AGES:
Our programming is intended for ages 7 - 14.
TIME:
Camp runs 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Drop-off starts at 8:45 am, and pick up is until 4:30 pm.
EXTENDED CARE:
If you require additional child care outside of these times, we will offer before and after care for a small additional fee. AM care starts at 8:00 am and PM care runs until 5:30.
LOCATION:
The Cedars Worship Centre (aka Westminster United Church) 543 Beechwood Drive Waterloo, Ontario.

WHAT TO BRING:
We will be taking two nutrition breaks during the day to eat. During these periods we will also be spending time outdoors and playing games, weather permitting. Campers should come with a water bottle and nut-free lunch and snacks. Please have them dress appropriately for the weather that week, including a change of shoes to wear indoors if it is wet out.
COST:
$85 + HST. All materials are included in our camp price.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
If you need to cancel your registration please contact agnes@mindfulmakers.ca as soon as possible.
Upon cancellation the following penalties will apply:
Cancellations anytime after registration and up to 3 weeks before your session start date: a full refund minus 20% admin fee will be issued. Cancellations anytime after registration and less than 3 weeks before the session start date: a full refund minus 45% admin fee will be issued. Sorry, no refunds can be issued with less than 48 hours notice before the session start date.
